GRIZZLY ACADEMY

Welcome to the "Grizzly Academy." The goal of this program is to give students help with their school work, as well as give them a safe, fun place to be after school. Our academy will go from 2:45pm to 5:15 Mondays through Thursdays. A bus home is provided for students who are bused to school, and students will also be given a snack.
The first hour of the program involves homework help and tutoring in core subjects such as Math, English, Science and Social Studies. The second hour of the program includes enrichment classes such as dance, woodshop and art. On Tuesdays and Thursdays we will offer sports including soccer in the fall, Jr. jazz basketball and indoor soccer in the winter and flag football in the spring.+
Rules and Requirements
Students are required to follow all Granite Park school rules during the after school program.
Student may not leave Grizzly Academy early without first checking in with the office.
Student must complete the first hour of academics in order to participate in enrichment activities and sports.
Discipline problems will be handled as follows.
1) A warning and reminder will be given to the student on the first offense.
2) After the second offense, students will be sent to the office and parents/guardians will be notified.
3) Students will no longer be able to attend Grizzly Academy after three offenses.
